Mini implants are dental implants that are more narrow than standard-sized dental implants. They can be used in several circumstances, including to secure a loose denture (sometimes called an “implant overdenture”).

Are mini implants “as good” as standard dental implants?

While they have can have an advantage in that they can be used when a patient has less bone available, mini dental implants are also not as successful as standard-sized implants.
